What To Expect
This course is a comprehensive one-day Saturday training from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., where we dive deep into advanced filler techniques, including cannula and facial balancing. This course does require some experience with injecting, whether that’s through our previous beginner aesthetics injectables courses or other experience.
This advanced, hands-on course is designed to elevate your skills and confidence in dermal fillers, setting you up for success in the aesthetics industry. You’ll spend the day immersed in didactic education and live injection using hyaluronic acid fillers, Radiesse®, and Sculptra®. Training will cover key treatment areas—including the mid-face, jawline, tear trough*, temples, and hands/body—while focusing on essential principles like anatomy, vasculature, advanced injection techniques, patient assessment, and complication management.
With only four students per class, our Advanced Filler Training Techniques course offers an intimate, high-quality learning experience with plenty of one-on-one guidance from Dr. Ogg and other experienced trainers. This course is designed to deepen your understanding of filler techniques, helping you refine your skills and master the art of facial balancing. Our goal is for you to leave feeling confident, prepared, and ready to elevate your career in aesthetics.

Who is eligible for this course?
This course is perfect for licensed professionals, including RNs, NP-Cs, PA-Cs, MDs, DOs, DDSs, and DMDs, looking to dive deeper into fillers to become a technically skilled injector. All students in this course must have injector experience, whether through past courses from Cosmetic Injector Academy or through years in the aesthetics industry. This ensures our training is tailored to individuals with the necessary medical and injecting background to succeed in this
advanced course.
Does this course require any prerequisites?
Yes. This course requires prior injecting experience. You should have completed Learning Tox 101 + Mentorship and Basic Filler Training + Mentorship at Cosmetic Injector Academy, or have equivalent training from a comparable prerequisite course elsewhere. Previous injecting experience is required to ensure that the advanced techniques covered in this course build on a solid foundation of knowledge and skill.
What types of filler will I learn to use?
This course provides in-depth, hands-on training with a variety of dermal fillers, including hyaluronic acid fillers, Radiesse®, and Sculptra®. You will learn advanced cannula techniques for precise product placement, facial balancing strategies, and combination approaches to achieve natural, harmonious results. Instruction covers key treatment areas such as the mid-face, jawline, tear trough, temples, and hands/body.
How long is this course?
This is a comprehensive, full-day advanced training that runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The day includes in-depth didactic education paired with live injection training, giving you both the theoretical knowledge and practical experience needed to master advanced filler techniques. Training is conducted in small class sizes, limited to four students per session, to ensure a personalized, high-quality learning experience.
