What To Expect
The course begins with a full-day, in-person Saturday session that kicks off this physician-led program with a didactic presentation and hands-on injecting experience. Over the next eight weeks, you’ll receive weekly online training modules and complete quizzes. Once a week, you will schedule a session to inject a patient under the expert supervision of Brandi Bowers. This is the only hands-on, multi-week mentorship program of its kind that uses our proprietary training method and offers unlimited observation opportunities, giving you the chance to learn and grow alongside experienced injectors.
At the end of the program, you’ll complete a final assessment where you will demonstrate your ability to assess and inject a patient safely and effectively. You will also complete a written assessment. Upon passing both, you’ll receive a certification of completion for this course. Learning Tox 101 + Mentorship is the beginning of your journey in aesthetics and will prepare you for continued learning, including our next courses in filler training.

Yes! When we say “hands-on, real-world experience,” we mean it. Once a week, you will schedule a time to visit our Plano, TX, Raven Med Spa location, where you’ll inject real patients under expert supervision in a professional aesthetics med spa setting.
Does this course require any prerequisites?
No, this course does not require any previous training or coursework in tox or injectables. Learning Tox 101 + Mentorship is a beginner-friendly course and the first course you’ll take at Cosmetic Injector Academy before moving on to subsequent filler courses.
How long is this course?
This course is 8 weeks long. It begins with an all-day, in-person Saturday kickoff class, followed by weekly online learning modules, quizzes, and hands-on patient injections under our guidance. Over this period, you will learn the ins and outs of tox to become a confident injector.
